PowerMaxLS™ Direct Fit Cams
Cams specifically designed for 4.8—6.0L LS Series engines to maximize power while utilizing stock valve train, without exceeding the travel of a stock valve spring. The goal was to maintain near stock idle characteristics, vacuum and drivability while increasing torque and horsepower throughout the RPM range.
Dyno testing on the 4.8L and 5.3L engines have shown significant gains over the stock camshaft using the PowerMaxLS™ Direct Fit cams
Ultra-Pro™ Roller Lifters
The Ultra-Pro™ Series is without a doubt the best roller lifter available today. They are engineered to operate flawlessly in ultra-high spring pressure environments, and designed for use with the most radical camshaft profiles. The bodies are FEA-engineered to provide an optimum balance of superior strength at minimum weight. Crane's race-proven Bearing-Focused™ oil system features small channels in the lifter body to lubricate the needle bearings. The roller wheel/bearing/axle combinations are optimized per lifter diameter (i.e. .904” diameter lifter has an .815” diameter wheel).
Made from one piece of carburized 8620 steel, these lifters have micro-finished bodies joined by heat-treated steel locking bars attached with a Monel™ pin and flange assemblies. With Bearing-Focused™ oiling to the needles and axles, along with standard height pushrod seats, these lifters make building American motors – as well as many others – that much easier.
HI-6RC Digital CD Ignition™
Millions of Crane Gold Race rocker arms have been sold because they provide a significant increase in performance and have proven to be exceptionally dependable. Their roller tip is more efficient than standard scrub-type rockers, they have a lower mass moment of inertia (less weight on the valve), and come in ratios that will increase the net valve lift and duration of a camshaft.
The rocker arms are manufactured from heat-treated billet aluminum extrusions, and CNC machined to exacting tolerances. These gold anodized rockers have long had the reputation of being the most accurate on the market and feature Crane's exclusive Quick-Lift™technology. They employ heavy-duty precision-ground steel needle bearings, a heat-treated steel roller tip, and come complete with adjustable locking nuts.
Standard Crane Gold Race rocker arms are proven to handle up to 700 lbs. of valve spring pressure (open), while special “wide body” designs at rated to 900 lbs. It’s a proven performer in drag racing, circle track, off-road and marine competition.
